I agree with ditter and the others.. I'd build up around the panel squares with coordinating fabrics in a log cabin design until I have a top the size needed.
then you can save the other print you have for the backing.. that is going to be a lovely quilt!

Hi,
wow, thanks everyone for these great ideas!!!! But I have to say I have only been doing quilting for about 1 1/2 yrs so am still quite a novice at it. So I will need to stay with something relatively simple. I have done a log cabin which was easy for me, have also done half log cabin/stars patter which was easy also. Thankfully we have a great quilt shop here, and those gals are fabulous, so I think that I can help/ideas from them also.

I am not into wildlife panels, but they do make up great for Men's quilts. These two are for my uncles. This is what I did:
