    Default Can you believe

I am working on what should have been a simple design and it has not been for me!-lol From the drawing, I figured the sizes to cut, in no time flat, but got careless with color placement of the first quilt top. Made the first block and posted what happened afterward, in Patchwork and Embroidered Stars thread. So I tried again. This time color placement correct, small corner 4p is color with background and only center larger 4p has 2 colors together. Great! Have it altogether and ran out of red fabric for my bottom outer border. No problem, leader in group has enough. I just can’t finish and you know me well enough by now, I like to finish!-lol I also wasn’t crazy about this so called ‘red’ fabric but I guess it doesn’t look too bad once it’s made up. Maybe this carelessness means I should take a break. It’s just that I have about 5 more panels to make. 😃

Wow, I would need to follow directions closely on one like that. Great work!

It would take me a couple of days to accomplish as much as you have. I will agree that the red has too much pink undertones to look like a true red. Still, it's a great quilt and I'm sure the recipient won't mind at all.

Gorgeous, patriotic quilt, Toogie! I'm sure you'll find something to work for the bottom.

You are so quick! Another great finish and love how the border zig zags around the panel.

I'm sorry this project gave you so much trouble! Some can be like that! But it was sure worth all your effort! I really like it and it came out great!
