When I first looked at the picture, I am thinking coffee beans or cat chow. After I read all the posts, I have no idea! Hmmm. It will be interesting to find out.

I'm beginning to think it's a part of a whole as opposed to individual pieces of something like maybe the bark of a weird tree or that rubber stuff they use on children's playgrounds now.

Congratulations to everyone who guessed that it is dog food!

I found the picture on Avlyn's site; it's part of a dog-themed collection, and they call this particular one "kibbles".

They do it in a kind of gray color, too, but for the life of me I don't understand why!
