How nice of you--now she can be wrapped in love. Beautiful quilt. I like how you created it all and it came together.

I will mailing this quilt out today to my SIL's mother. She has ovarian cancer which was caught earlier. She is in her 2 round of chemo for the cancer spread to another area. Even though the doctor thought he got it all it is hard to tell. No one knows about the quilt so it will be a surprise. It should arrive in time for her birthday as well. My daughter helped pick the colors out. Teal is the color for ovarian cancer and the backing was designed for this cancer so a donation from the sell goes toward research. Because of the design I've named the quilt "Stained Glass" for it reminds me of church windows.

What a wonderful, beautiful gift. I love how you arranged it and the signature idea is just so thoughtful. I hope she loved it.

Purplesharon, yours is stunning, also. I've seen that backing in one of our LQS's and thought it was so pretty. Wonderful gift.
