Cancer quilt
#1
This is another of my projects from last year. A friend of the family has a mother who had been diagnosed terminal. I made the quilt for the mom to use during her hospice stay. She then passed it on to her daughter who is our friend. It only lived with Anne for about 8 months before her daughter had to bring it home. It was in pinks and purples that were her favorite colors. The pattern is Daisy Chain from a jelly roll book.

I made a snuggle quilt for when I was in chemo. I met some wonderful people there. It needs to be cold in there so I began to make cancer quilts. To be able to give some hope and love has no limits. I think I know how she felt. Truely you gave her a gift of Love. Thank you for shareing her story. Prayers are with you. Marvel

Thanks so much for the kind words. I must say I did not quilt it. It went to the longarm. I have only quilted my first one last month. Anne wrote me a thank you card from her home state and she said just what you all did. That she was wrapped in love.
Thanks so much,
Tracy
