    I do snip and for some reason they just do not want to lay flat. I'm not giving up just taking a breather.

    Thank you everyone for the oodles of compliments! I'm blushing now. This block was a challenge, but certainly worth the effort and I'm a better PPer because of it.

    For those who have asked for the pattern, this star was created and is copyrighted by Candlequilter, a fellow Quilting Board member. She has offered to give the pattern out in exchange for a block (either this star or a block pattern of your choice). She is using the blocks to make quilts for soldiers. Please PM her for the pattern and be sure to send her a block in return! There are many Candlequilter Stars that have been posted in the Pictures section - if you go through Search you can see the whole list. Lots to admire!
