Default I am glad I am not alone on this earth.

My husband is getting better but nothing is wasted, even though my house may look messy sometimes. We also have one trash can ONCE A MONTH. We recycle, reuse, I sew with my church and use scrape to make quilts for homeless shelters, shop at thrift stores, and shop yardsales for scraps of material, sheets to use for backs.
My daughter said that an exterminator told her that you should run the clothing through a dryer to kill any eggs from bed bugs,....just to mention to you.
I always wash and dry things I get from anyone else...you just don't know.
I want to thank everyone for their posts, pictures and comments.
    Great job !!!!

I need to laugh.. I spent a good part of today trying to tame scraps that have invaded my house.. It seems that I was in a couple of swaps, and a couple of people have given me scraps, as they don't like using them.. It seems that the scraps have been multiplying, and getting out of hand.. I'm waiting for the camp season to start, and my niece will be working with 2-3yo's. She will be taking a bunch of the small scraps in so the kids can decorate projects....

I wouldn't call you "cheap" but very "crafty. Wonderful how you recycled things.

I was thinking about what a great group of caring people this is...Wow! most of us are recycled ourselves many times in our lives from daughter to wife, mother, career, grandmother, great grandmother and when we wear the seat out of our pants we use our legs or whatever is available to keep us going. Wouldn't our "great great's" be thrilled to have our scraps? Isn't this really the foundation of quilting? Would love to see the pictures of projects and pillows posted.
