    patdesign, I machine embroidered the butterflies. They are a Dakota Collectables, 20 designs, a 4 X 4 sewing field.

    jeana, what is that old saying? Great minds think alike? LOL
    That is my theme for this quilt. Two weeks ago when I started journaling for this quilt I named it 'Butterfly Meadow'.
    Placing the embroidered butterflies on the green fabric represents the butterflies over foliage/meadow. The reason I chose the sunflowers, butterflies/flower connection. :D

    I like the green, really makes the blocks "pop". Show is the finished product please.

    I really like the lighter fabric. The embroidery stands out more.
