Default Can't throw away...part 2!!!

Hello, fist of all I say thank you for all your nice comments and "WOWs" and messages!!
And here come more pictures of using up scraps: this time they must be minimum about 3 cm or 1"wide!
I sew all these stripes together till I got a very long stripe of 15 or more meters!!

I took the scraps without sorting...

And then I use the "Lasagne technic": both ends right sides together and sewing at the long side: you get a stripe half as long as before!!

And then ends together and sewing... It's like the "Jelly Roll Race"!!!
And at last you have "new" fabric out of all these little bittle stripes!!!

You can also sort a bit for color:

I made table sets out of these: no stain will be seen on them!!!!

Those are cute. I never would've thought about saving them and making place mats or mug rugs! I like the brighter one! But I think that's just more of my personality!

I love the your uses of using scraps. I was able to accumulate tons of scraps, and am in the middle of making four scrap quilts for my staff. After I am done with the project, I still have a ton left.. I got the scraps from board members that were kind enough to part with them. If there are board members that are not using them, and want to share, I'm sure there are members that can use them.
