I made this with some Moda Whimsy charm packs for my Grammy. I call it the Cape Cod quilt because the fabrics just really remind me of the Cape, and visits to my Grammy there as a kid. I still can't keep the tensions right on my machine to do fmq so I just quilted it with straight lines on either side of the seams. I did the binding by hand for the first time using the ladder stitch and it worked a charm!

My wonderful model, J hamming it up with R2!

I like you Cape Cod quilt - it reminds me of a cottage by the sea! Some else likes it too, only she gets to use it! LOL

How precious the model is. Oh, and the quilt was pretty, too. Since I have never been to Cape Cod, I will take your word for it. I can picture setting, though, from the colors.

What a lovely quilt. Reminds me of a spring day.
    Your model is adorable.
