    That is a very sad thing to have happen to anyone, but to someone so young it must seem like the end of the world.

    That's a beautiful quilt.. Quilts always bring comfort with them, and silently speak volumes to the one using it. I can't think of a nicer thing for him to have.

    Beautiful quilt! I made a Carpenter Star quilt in blues for a friend who ended up with Guillain-Barre after getting a Swine flu shot last year. He is still unable to walk and uses it as a lap quilt while in his wheelchair.

    very pretty and he is very lucky, my friend wasnt so lucky she died a year after having the stroke...she came around for awhile and then just could make it...I also made her a quilt but not sure if she ever realized it...now the family has it...She also was 45. I am happy you still have him and he has you! Great Quilt!
