    These are so lovely and the cherry blossoms are so unexpected as we tend to think of Cardinals in winter with pine cones!
    Have you seen Cedar Waxwings? They gather in my apple tree at blossoming. They are a similar shape and color as the female Cardinal but their plumage looks soooo silky.

    You always do such great work. I love birds so I am glad to see you doing them. We do have cardinals and they are just a joy to see in the snow.

    Outstanding, are you doing iron on or applique, the back ground is very interesting also

    It is fusible applique. I guess I really should call it fabric collage as there are many pieces of fabric in one object. The background is hand dyed by me. Thank you for your compliments.
