    Default Cardinals and Cherry Blossoms

I have been working on a series of bird patterns and this is the first one. I can't seem to get a good picture of the female and I have a little more work to do on the tail and feet. She isn't as light as the picture shows. I have to thank my friend Marie who sends me so many pictures of birds. We don't have cardinals in Idaho so I didn't really know what a female looked like. They are too pretty to just save for Christmas. As with most of my pictures, this one hasn't been quilted yet. After I get through with the design I am ready to go on to the next one. I will have a weeks worth of quilting to do one of these times.

    Pretty quilt!
    Check here:
http://www.pbase.com/bmullen/female_cardinals These seem to be some exceptional female cardinal images!

You can google just about anything, then add the word "images" to the search and get page after page of what you're looking for.
