I have a grandson who has aspbergers and he's very creative with a pencil. He's 15, in grade 10. He loves to draw and write stories. He's very good at it and wants to be a cartoonist when he finishes school. They are amazing kids, and very active mentally. your son is super at quilting. He does a great job.

Great job, Carl. You certainly have talent. And I'm glad to hear you honored your committment to the cause. I also make quilts for the wounded warriors. I pray for the person who will recieve it and tell them in a note that's attached to it. Also thank them for their service. Keep up the excellent work you are doing.

What a wonderful thing, that you've taught him this skill! I commend his talent and his generosity (and your wisdom and patience). Couldn't he make another one like the one he liked so much that would be for him? He learned a good, if hard, lesson with that one! Blessings!

Well said. I second that motion. I have a grandson in Afghanistan and it warms my heart that you and Carl are so generous with your time and talent. Thanks.

Give Carl a huge hug from my boys that are still serving in the military and let him know that all the military people thank him for what he's done. He has no idea of how much this means to those that serve. I have seen a lot of happy pictures from all the quilts that have been sent to the guys and girls overseas and it's one of the biggest things they get excited about. Not just receiving the quilts but just knowing we are still thinking about them means more then anything.

PS you could always make him one for Christmas just like the one he did.
