Default Carpenter's Star sandwiched and quilt

I have finished my Carpenter's Star quilt. If I must say so myself it turned out pretty good. I named it Nautical Star. Since my embroidery machine is not working, I used Aunt Martha's Ball Point Embroidery Paint to make the label. Thanks for all the advice and help from my quilting friends here on the board.

Wow! That looks so different from the standard carpenter's wheel due to the light fabric making the wheel. I really like it, and am so impressed you were able to keep the lighthouses and boats all headed in the same direction in your HSTs.

It looks lovely. It has such a soft look to it, you really have to look closely. Once you see the "star", you can't see anything else. Great quilt.

Beautiful. May I ask what size full squares were, please? I can go from there.
