    I had started putting together string pieces with the intent of doing a diamond string quilt - with the Carpenter star center I just love it!!

    Your quilt is really beautiful. I am amazed that the string squares make such a nice frame for the Carpenter's Star. The two elements really compliment each other. It will certainly be a treasure.
