Here are a couple of pictures of my project from this past weekend. I love making tote bags and this is my favorite so far. I even made a little cover for posterboard to create a hard but removable bottom.

My sweet hairdresser keeps a basket of my bags and her customers have been buying them. It keeps that part of my hobby in fabric.

Love the label inside. Never thought about putting labels in totes!

I really like them. How sweet of your hairdresser to do that for you. We need more like her

Ladies, thanks so much for your kind comments. This fabric is super and always looks great no mater what. The bags are such fun to make. I love piecing quilts, but a finished product gives great satisfaction especially squeezing the work in around job and home.

My hairdresser is indeed a doll for keeping them for me. She says everyone looks at them. That makes me want to make more style in different fabrics. Who knows what will please a person. Just gotta take a chance.
