    I`ve done many quilts this way and always love how thy turn out....I love yours as well.....I usually use black for the sashings but really like this look with the white.....nice job

    Oh but I always remove the paper though....as I`m sewing the rows together

    I read back through the posts. my reply turned out to be the #70
    I am of the great grand parent generation and I remember my grandmother using newspapers, catalog pages, etc for piecing and left the paper in the quilt.. some of the history of quilts and the original work can still be found with bits of paper..life is so interesting!...same concerns and questions I remember in the neighborhood then as I see on QB.. love it!!
