So cute, and the kitties will love them. My daughter has an 18 year old cat, and he is getting arthritic. For Christmas, I crocheted him his very own kitty afghan, and embroidered his name on it. He knows that is his, too, and doesn't want anybody messing with his blanket.

How did yu quilt the mostly blue one? I have a similar top and can't decide how to quilt. It isn't as much of an all over print, but has several different cats on the beach. Right now I'm leaning toward outline quilting it. Yours are really great.

I'm sorry to ignore your question. Just checked back. I just quilted from right to left and from left to right in a cross hatch. I noticed the ones shown for the shelter have a lot of quilting. They hold up better to washing that way.

Just checked back. I used cotton batting or 20/80 batting. It has been a while since I made them.

If I remember correctly, I used a fat quarter. So around 17"x20" after squaring up and quilting.
