    The cats are from a panel that I took apart and put together again with black sashing. The panel was from my stash and is quite old. I kept the selvedge edge and it say "Cool Cats by Loralie Harries for Loralie Designs - 2005 Pattern #970."

    For the border, I didn't use a pattern, but a book came out a couple of months after I made my quilt. It is called "Let's Twist" by Country School House Designs.

    Good luck finding the panel!
