I need to fluff the top up more - I haven't fooled with it for a while and the weight of it pulls it down some. I'm SOOO glad she made it when she did. After this she went into her "bullet-proof double knit" phase. The quilts I have for my son are from that era.

It is beautiful. I like how you have it displayed on the wall as a dress.

At first, I thought it was a dress. I love the hanger and the way it is displayed. this has always been a pattern that intrigues me, yet I have never tried. Beautiful!!

Well, I'm not sure which I like most; the quilt or the hanger! Love the way you've displayed it! It is a lovely heirloom and I'm sure you will cherish it forever. Do your little ones enjoy it from afar as well? lol Thanks for sharing.

That is so beautiful! It's one of my dreams to make a cathedral window quilt. When I first looked at the picture, I thought it was a dress made from the quilt!

How creative to have it displayed as a dress! and how lovely is the work in this quilt - just gorgeous... I keep saying "someday" and maybe that someday will come! It is one of my favorite designs; bless you for preserving a piece out of the past!
