    Wow It is gorgeous. I admire you for sticking with it for 5 years to finish it. Also you whole bedroom looks like a pic from a magazine. Beautiful!

    Love your quilt. I started a cathedral window quilt several years ago. I loved doing it but got discouraged when I realized how heavy the finished product would be. Think I'll get it out and finish it as a bed runner. Thanks for the inspiration.

    My husband's aunt gifted me with a twin size cathedral quilt more than 45 yrs. ago, before we were married. She had made several but chose me, I think, because I would appreciate the amount of work it took to complete. I have always treasured that quilt and last year I finally added a label to honor her memory.

    Yours is lovely and well worth the labor you put into it. You don't have to use it as a blanket, just a final dressing on the bed. They are heavy.
