    I would love to make one but cannot fathom the amount of time it takes to do this. This is gorgeous! So happy for you that you have it.

    I don't think hard is the right word, just time consuming.... My Aunt once told me she did all of it by hand except the first round of sewing. That she did by machine because, 'nobody could see it'.... The pattern is blocks of fabric folded just right then hand sewn down. No, one of these is not in my retirement future :)
