This pic is of Leia, sitting on my guest bed, it's not a quilt on it, but my mother made this a few months ago, on a weaving loom. I can't remember what it's called in english, sorry, lol!

And this is our new siamese kitty,Orion, sitting on my most recent UFO.

Mr Murphy hides most of the time. he sleeps in my scrap basket. He manages to tunnel in so he isn't seen.

I still miss larry whole bunches and cry when I see cat pictures, but really enjoy looking  :? :D

barbsbus what a lover your Binks is. My Tiny will seek out DH (and wait for him by the door when she knows he will be home soon). But my Sunny doesn't often seek out lovin's. More often than not he "happens" to walk in the room and looks up and blinks like "oh there you are, might as well get loved on while you're here."

Kinkajou ~ a catnip quilt for cat naps that's cute! I'll have to keep that in mind for the day when everything is put away and there's no place else for my kitties to be! Or perhaps I should just make one for my old girl kitty. :) It's hard to get up and down off a bed you know. ;)

Baren*eh*ked ~ Your Leia is beautiful for a quick second I wondered how you had photos of my girl, but no Leia has beautiful long fur! Your UFO is beautiful, did you pick a good black that doesn't pick up lint? My current project has a 1 1/2" black border and I had to run the lint roller over it to pick up all the hair, threads, fur, and misc. before I could begin quilting it! How old is Orion? He's beautiful.

Ruth, sometimes I look at photos of our group and I think, "oh there's another photo of Kitty Sleeping in the Hall, or why did we need another photo of Sunny? But the bottom line is each photo marks a moment, a moment we will never have back and that is worth something very precious. Does Mr Murphy ever leave a bit of open tunnel? Sometimes you can pull that back and snap a photo, if you put your camera next to the sewing machine maybe you could catch him on the way in or out. :D

ooo, I see it! I see it! lol!

Elizabeth A. , yes, leia has looooong fur, and it gets everywhere. It's like, you just have to look in her direction and her fur lets go and float over to whichever black item of clothing you happen to be wearing. LOL!

Orion was given to us by a friend of my brother's, (they were going to have her put to sleep!  ) She's 3 years old, but she looks like she's about 8 months. I don't think the previous owners took care of her at all, she's attention starved, and scrawny.

I can't keep my cats off my quilts, but I love having them around and giving their stamp of approval to my quilts. And Ruth I send hugs to you. We love them so much!! They are part of our family and we are lost when they're gone.
