Bonjour Letia! I used to travel to the Grenoble area (Brignoud) on business quite a lot. Tell me - is it difficult to find quilt shops and materials? My colleague and I went looking and could not find any quilt shops at all in Grenoble. Do you have to order on line?

I'm going to Karen's Lecture in May! I'm actually arranging a bus trip for it. Can't wait!

These are 2 Karen Combs quilts at the Spokane Quilt show.
They are beautifal. The show was great. Spent to much money so I guess I had a great time.

I'm glad you like them. I didn't get to see all the quilts. I missed a whole section and had to go. So there were probably more. I'm going to get the Celtic Book and do the one like yours first. I have a few Christmas quilts to finish then I'm going to do it. I like the colors of the green, blue, and yellow.
I'll be sure and post a picture for you when I get mine done.

You want a bonus? I have enough smaller triangles left over from the pieced blocks to do at least 1/2 of another quilt! Not quite sure what the pattern will be yet - I am hand piecing the blocks and winging it as I go! More proof that Karen is a genius - not a scrap wasted!
