    Default A challenge quilt finished

I asked for some suggestions on doing a quilt to represent a song. I got many wonderful suggestions and decided to do the song, Tie a Yellow Ribbon Around the old Oak Tree. Paper Princess gave me this suggestion. What do you think? TY to all for their suggestions.

Love it! I like the inclusion of the flag and quilt pattern in red, white and blue. Our town is where Ft. Polk is located so yellow ribbons tied on trees mean something special for us to remember. Thanks to everyone who is serving our country in the military and their families.

That's wonderful. The shading on the mountains turned out just great. Makes you want to buy a pumpkin. Beautiful.
