    Default Challenge Quilt

My LQS recently held a quilt competition. You had to purchase a package of fabrics and make a small wallhanging. You had to use at least some of each of the 10 fabrics + a button and you were only allowed to add 1 other fabric. The theme was Autumn in Canberra.
It was so much fun seeing what everyone else came up with, there were 31 entries in all and everyone did a great job. I was stunned to have won as there were so many other gorgeous quilts. The $200 gift voucher is going to come in very handy

Congratulations! I think you hit the mark with your interpretation. So what fabric was your addition?

So dimensional and the leaves at the border look reflected in the body of the quilt. Wow!

LOVE it! I would have given you first place too. How did you do the leaves?
