About 5 years ago I peiced these trees. I got the idea from a possibilities book and I didn't want to paper peice ( I am not sure why now becuase I don't mind paper peicing?) but I didn't know how to use the angle on my ruler very well either it was my first time....and I have a few cut off points but now I am a pro?? LOL
Anyway..I quilted it for two days and finally finished it last night. I used silver metallic on the backgrounds...except the yellow fabrics I used gold metallic. I uses a green variagated for the trees and a purple thread for the border...this is heavily quilted but I wanted that shiny thread to stand out! So this is staying here! You can't see the metallic shiny thread in the photos..but trust me it is there!

Love that... Oh, I might have to steal your idea, its gorgeous and I usually don't care for Christmas projects... I don't have time to finish normal projects, let alone ones just for holidays, but that's adorable. Great Job!!!
