It was very hard and emotional for me to finish this one. Normally i am super fast in finishing quilts, but this one took a long time because of the thoughts behind it.
I am actually planning on making a small wall hanging to present to the mom when i go this month (like a spiritual panel or something...word of encouragement) to keep something for themselves, so any panel ideas with words are very welcome.

Beautiful quilt and great quilting! Thanks to your son and he did a great job.
The "Windows of Hope" suggestion sounds good to me, as does the hope that whoever wins the quilt will give it back to the girl for healing. Whatever, you did a wonderful thing. May God's blessings follow you wherever you go!!

What are you planning ....that you need to know how to designate it....
Charity vs donation. Is that for tax purposes?
Know the reason for the question might help in deciding what to classify it.

I think I would of been a bit hurt that they were selling it. Just think the thing through and it can ease her worry and also help with medical expenses. It will help her get better. Its a good thing and your heart was in the right place. God gives us gifts to be used.
