Charity/Donation????i don't know what to call it

Hi all,
My husband asked me to make a quilt for the daughter of one of his coworkers because she has been very sick in hospital for a long time (only 26 years old), so gladly i did (i love him so much). My husband checked with friends of the family and they are going to actually auction the quilt at a Church event so the funds would help in medical bills.
This is the finished quilt and believe it or not my 18 year old son quilted it for me on my new Viking long arm (i was busy piecing other quilts...lol).
It is not the best but it is a good cause:)
Any comments for future ref would be much appreciated.
Thanks for looking

It's sad when someone has to take a gift and sell it to pay for medical expenses.
Thank your son and husband for giving you the desire to make it, whatever becomes of it. The quilt is lovely, and it will be going to a good home, even if not the one it was intended to go towards.

Thank you ladies for your nice comments. It is actually very true and sad that instead of the family enjoying the quilt they have to get money to manage bills.
It was very hard and emotional for me to finish this one. Normally i am super fast in finishing quilts, but this one took a long time because of the thoughts behind it.
I am actually planning on making a small wall hanging to present to the mom when i go this month (like a spiritual panel or something...word of encouragement) to keep something for themselves, so any panel ideas with words are very welcome.
