Charity Purse I made ...
#24
Ty so much thequilterslink! No, I asked my neighbor to make the check out to the charity and hubby mailed it in this morning. I am thinking of maybe making another one anyway though.
I have a lap quilt top finished I will quilt next week and it will go to them, so I am not under the gun to make anything else, really. I will donate my time on the day of the tournement too. Where ever they need me.
There are some nice donations already made for the aucton. Harry Reid, Senator Ensen, John Asquaga's Nugget, St Mary's Hospital and channel 4 news have all donated. So they aren't under any stress for things. There are even automobiles as prizes and dinner packages.

What a gorgeous purse!! Your fabric choices make it come alive!!! And I love the buttons!
Your friend is really lucky--and she got a great purse for her money. I agree that you should teach a class or workshop--or start your own business.
