Default charity quilt made from grab bag fabric

Our guild has a challenge to make a quilt from fabric we got in grab bags. Here is what I just finished. The pattern is Squares within Squares 2. It goes together quickly.

    http://www.quilterscache.com/S/Squar...res2Block.html

I will quilt it and give it to our charity committee at our guild meeting Monday. It was fun working with really different fabric for a change. These are not colors I favor. If you look closely, you can see the the focus fabric has big butterflies on it.

    Thanks for looking.

Great job! Grab bags, unusual colors, it all leads to some nice quilts for someone to enjoy!

This quilt really pops. Someone will love cuddling under it!

I like that pattern! I've had a couple of times I was making a quilt that I wasn't crazy about the fabrics... yet I "ate crow" after the quilt was done because I ended up really liking it. Lol

I like it (and orange is just about my least favorite color!) Good fit between pattern and fabrics.
