    Default Charity Quilt ready ..

The diabetes association has a wine and food tasting event in a couple weeks and asked me for a donation to help out. Since I had so little time, I made this Take Five quilt with cardinal and winter fabrics to go along with their theme, "Winter Wonderland". I just need to sew on a label and print out a washing instructions sheet and I am done! Yay! This is 63" by 74" inch Lap quilt.

    I Heard a Bird Sing
    by
    Oliver Herford

    I heard a bird sing
    In the dark of December.
    A magical thing
    And sweet to remember.
    "We are nearer to Spring
    Than we were in September,”
    I heard a bird sing
    In the dark of December.

For some reason this poem is stuck in my mind now.... LOL!
