ube quilting

I just finished sewing the first two quarters together. At first I didn't think I would like this top. After finishing the 1st quarter It looked blah to me but now, the bigger it grows the better it gets.

I was unsure of mixing everything in my fabric collection together from civil war repro's to funky mod's.
Every shade in the rainbow it seems except pure primary colors.

Making this quilt will teach anyone about organization. One other person that I know of on QB is making this one too. It is her first quilt and she is going to learn a lot. I hope she doesn't give up on it.

I love it! I love mixing all kinds of fabrics and not caring what touches what. This is a quilt that will never get boring, will always be fresh and interesting.
