    Wood shop is still available in our school, but they have removed other classes that I think are just as important - auto shop for one. I think that class should be manditory, but unfortunately our school board doesn't agree.
    I wish I had had an opportunity to take auto shop. I think these 'hands on' skills are as important as a college education. My DH left a job as a successful software engineer to open his own business. He is so much happier.
