    This isn't reverse appliqué, though that might have been easier. There is very little fabric to turn under between the feathers! It's done using the needle-turn applique' method.

    Blue with cheddar wasn't my first choice; a little too bright for me. But it was used a lot during the Civil War times, and when I looked at the color wheel, THERE IT WAS!
