I thought about this for a bit and decided simple was best.
I outlined each applique..as I would never dream of quilting over someone's hard work..unless they wanted me too..of course. I then outlined the frames and then used little snowflakes and loops in the sashing and outer borders. I actually thought I should seprate the two..started stippling in the blue sashing because it already had snowflakes..didn't like it..ripped it out and started over.
It is an adorable quilt!
I quilted this free hand on my 26 inch INNOVA. Free-hand..no computer or pantographs quilting.

You're very right simple was best for this amazing appliqued quilt. I love the knit designed fabrics that she chose for the hat and sweaters. The designer of this quilt is very clever and a great quilter.Kudos to you both :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
