I am watching these posts closely. I want to do one so bad. What do you do on the edge? Do you hem or bind?

I totally love this.... I have not done one like this... but I have used the Chenille stitching for background.... I so need to use it for making
something like this. love it.

What a genius idea! I'd never thought to do it on the longarm with a channel lock! Brilliant! OK, I understand that you pinned on a backing, then batting, then floated your stacked panels on a 45-degree angle, and used the channel lock to stitch the straight lines 3/8" apart. Olfa's chenille cutter did the rest. Do you bind before washing?

This is a fantastic idea! Love it!

My sister asked me if we could do a chenille quilt on my long arm. This was the method that we came up with, but hadn't tried it yet. I'm glad to see that it would work!
