    Default Chevron and feathers!
    This is a first timers attemp at a king size quilt for her bed! Talk about jumping in with both feet! She did an excellent job, with the instructions from her mom who has made quilts forever! Now it was my turn to quilt this lovely piece and make it come to life! I decided on the feather stitch running down the chevron stripe and was thrilled with the turn out! I did a simple stitch on the blocks so as not to take away from the cascading feathers!
    ( the quilt was too large for my normal picture taking area, so I couldn't get the whole thing in a picture without zooming way out! ) But you get the idea! Thanks!
