I think it is great! Are you going to use colored thread in the white areas to emphasize the various colors of your chickens? don't be so hard on yourself....I often find I am somewhat dissatisfied with what I see at first. Finish it and I bet you will have changed your mind!

Charlie had better be joking! A quilt like this--for the chickens??!! I would be the first to tell him "Sorry, Charlie"

Uh, Kathy... I'll take it... You know, if you don't like it or want it and all... Just thought I'd throw that in...

Honestly, I have never, not 1 single time had a quilt turn out the way I envisioned it, but as mentioned before, I have always found I like them much better once they're finished... As a matter of fact, I love them & hate to part with them. That top is beautiful!! I love it!!

uh, I'll PM you my address where you can mail it to me...

Kathy, So cute!!!! I love it. But do tell me---where did you find the chicken fabric. I can't keep anything in stock when I use chicken fabric. I get so tired of looking at chickens, but people love them!!!

I think it's lovely and I like your idea of quilting a chicken outline in the wire squares. I think it really enhances a quilt, to leave some spaces that you can highlight with some special quilting.

    I DEMAND CLOSEUPS!!!!

don't be shy, girlfriend. i know everybody would love to see the details of all the different techniques you used in those blocks. AND your workmanship is worthy of it, so don't go chickening out about it.

    :) :D :P

okie dokie, tonite when I get home, did ya'll recognize the blazing arrows on the corners?
Tricia, I found most of the chicken fabric online but the pretties one for the setting triangles my mom found at Hobby Lobby. Yes chickens are very popular with us country folks and those who wish they were!
