Chickens in my sewing studio
#11
If that does not make you smile every time you walk into the room......well you'd have to be in a pretty bad mood. Good on you to get your "studio".... I have my "studio" too....where all my fabric and sewing stuff resides...but my sewing table is in the family room - or i'd never see my husband !!!

The "geese" would have bullied the chickens. Love your studio....hmm based on the theory of a studio being where you can leave your "art work" out....my whole house is a studio of sorts. Must get a basket and do a collection...and put it all back into the real studio (a nice double size room formerly occupied by my third step son) I now share with my DH (he paints/draws I quilt).

My "studio" is overflowing into the rest of the house. I have made myself a plaque stating, "I am a quilter and my house is in pieces". My DH is very tolerant of me bless him. I love your chickens and I agree, no flying geese.

Love your chicken quilt. I think flying geese would not have worked in the border of your quilt. Glad you did not put them in there. I like flying geese blocks but it was not appropriate for your quilt. Good way to stick up for yourself and I bet you are happier with what you did.
