    I can't really say how long it took, since I started out making a bunch of 4 patches from my pre-cut 2.5 inch strips. Then they sat for a while until I found a pattern. But it was fairly easy. My final version is about 44 x 56.

    Yes I used some left over bindings too - I have a seperate bin for them.
