You guys make me blush! Thank you. Hughburt is a combination between a sock monkey pattern and something else I saw. Here are my inspirations for the dog: http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1104 and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/1557885168/ref=dp_otherviews_0?ie=UTF8&s=books&img=0

I'd love to make the dog in the picture, but I don't get the "concept." Any ideas, oh talented ones? I could buy the book! LOL!

Loretta, I do remember sock monkeys! Growing up, my best friend had one that I always admired. Another wonderful friend bought me my own a couple of years ago! I think they're so clever!

I think your doggie came quite close!!! It's sooooo cute!!!! And I love the blanket. Something about reds and whites for a baby or small blanket. Always looks good. I think I read some where babies really respond well to red too. Hmmm. Ya listening Henry?? LOL  8)

That's pretty cool, Chele. I can see that your stitch in the ditch is better than mine. LOL

Love the quilt - the red and white is beautiful. Chinese coins is another one on my list. I recently bought 3 "Chinese pieces" in blue and white and you have given me an idea for down the road!!! Thanks.
