This is a quilt called the chinese lantern. I made it about a year ago. The directions were very good to follow. Didn't have any problems with it at all. I quilted cranes and chinese fans on it. Regards, zeke.........

Very nice, Zeke. The pattern is a bit reminiscent of American Indian blanket weaving patterns.

Zeke, that is just beautiful! I wish I could see the background fabric closer! Did you pick the fabrics yourself? Gorgeous!

Zeke, see you are new to the board so welcome from Argentina. The quilt is very nice, like the colors. Can you get a close up so we can see the quilting?

Yes, I did pick the fabrics myself. They happen to be in our stash. I was President of the Elk Grove Quilter's Guild a few years back, and for a departing gift, the group give me about 10 yards of batik fabrics. It all came in most fat quarters and about 7 pieces of 1 to 3 yard cuts. Regards, zeke...............

The first thing I thought of when I saw the pattern and colors was southwestern. I really, really like this quilt :)
