    For everyone worried about the blue, the color in the photo is not accurate--the blue is really a dark purple that is less discordant. I'll post pictures after the final cut and seam. I really appreciate all the support I've received during this project which has been a real challenge for me!

    The blue/purple actually is your "pop" color. I think it is ideal for your chop and sew. Can't wait to see pictures.

    Here are the final pictures after the last cut-and-seam. I'm feeling good about how they turned out! Now, I need to decide about sashing and binding. Right now I'm thinking about a combination of black and a dark, but bright, green. I'd appreciate any feedback. I think this is going to turn out to be a wall hanging.
