Just for your information, I find that a raffle earns more $$$$ than an auction. Most people can't afford what a quilt is worth. But, they will spend five or ten dollars for tickets. If you get enough people spending the five or ten dollars, it adds up. Just my experience from doing quilts for Airedale rescue.
By the way, I visited the Ouachita Airedale breeder in DeQueen several years ago.
Next time you're in DeQueen, drive up to Mena. Quilters are welcome here!
