    well I got a little more done today. I finished another of the center star sections, like the one above. I realized that by using a stripe fabric in the center, the stripes aren't going to match up when it's all sewn together. Not sure how much this is going to bother me, but I'm trying not to focus on it.

    I also completed one of the flying geese borders. I think it's really pretty with the different fabrics instead of one main fabric, but man was it tedious! And slow going. My shoulders and back are not thanking me right now.
