Default Christmas Elves for a Special Family...

I know these are not pictures of quilts, but I have a special family for whom I have made Christmas elves. It started when the Mom's three children were young. Then I added elves for the Mom and Dad. As the years went on and the family grew, I made elves for each addition...grandparents included. The children are not grown and have their own families so you can imagine how the elf collection grew. This year I added an elf for the new grandson, now 9 months old, plus three other new family additions. This year the family lost a grandma, age 90 and a son, age 30. It was a sad year for this family. You will see that I transformed their elves into angels. Each Christmas the elves take their place high above the fireplace. The angels in the family look down from the highest mantel. Thought I would share the elves with you. God Bless and Merry Christmas to all.

How wonderful that you have blessed this family in such a nice way. The elves (angels) are adorable.

That is such a lovely family tradition. Someday they will argue over who gets custody of the elves. How lovely that you were able to tranform the elves of the lost loved ones into angles so they can watch from a higher place. Merry Christmas.
