My quilter used a lightweight poly batting in the quilt to avoid any shrinkage. I didn't want to use a cotton batting because I didn't want that antique look for this quilt after it was washed.

Again, I would like to thank all of you for the lovely compliments on the quilt I made for my mom.

She is very special to me, and she really loves her new quilt. She can't tell you where it came from (she has advanced Alzheimer's) but that is okay...she loves it just the same.
