    oh that is lovely. love the scrappy binding too. it's hard doing binding scrappy and making sure the seams don't end up in your quilt corners. good job!!!

    I found the link to where the pattern came from:

    So I'm guessing the name of the quilt is "Westward Journey". There are something like 6 post you can follow for all the instructions.

    Thanks for all the comments. Yes I was lucky when I did the scrappy binding. I layed it out first to make sure they didn't end on the corners.

    I've never done a backing with the extra colors in it - can you explain to me why these are inserted - curious.

    I think it's adorable!!! I'm not to fond of most Christmas fabrics, but these are great!!!! I like what you did with the back. It's always fun to throw a little something extra on there.
